The Mayor of Venice and Professor of Architecture Massimo Cacciari, in collaboration with the Director of the Hellenic Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies in Venice, Academician Chryssa Maltezou, invited the Collection to participate with works from it in events organized by the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, relating to the activity of the Querini family in the Aegean during the period of Venetian rule.
