In 2007, with Germany holding the European Union Presidency, the Collection was invited to the Pergamon-Museum in Berlin, where it was seen by some 93,000 visitors during events to mark the fall of the Berlin wall. The Exhibition was visited by premiers of European states, among them the Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis.
